I grew up with Melissa, since the 4th grade! We were great friends for a long time, then we became BEST friends through junior high and high school!!! I couldn’t have been luckier to have such an amazing friend! She is the type of friend that you don’t have to do much of anything and you find yourself laughing hysterically and making memories to remember forever! Well, she moved away to California awhile ago, so I have been missing her. BUT, how excited was I when she called to tell me she was going to be in town for a couple weeks and wanted to do a photo session with her, and some of her family! It had been almost a year since I had seen her in person and to be able to do this was like the best present at Christmas time! These were actually a gift to her parents, so I couldn’t share them until they got them… I’m glad I’m able to share them now, these are so special to me!
I love the Green Wedding Shoes blog! They always have such great ideas and inspiration for the brides and grooms out there! So… when I came across this cool entry, it made me feel like I left this Arizona heat behind! Maybe I can get my husband to go with me up to the mountains just to get married again, right now!!

I have to say, when Jodi Getz, an absolutely amazing photographer of Canada called me to shoot this wedding with her I could not stop smiling! I have admired Jodi and become friends with her through facebook for some time now! Though we had never actually met in person until that wedding night at the Blackstone, we totally clicked and got some stunning images together! Then, on top of that cake, we were shooting for the amazing and exclusive photographer, Terry McCaig. She is the mother of the bride! So, truly, as I said before, this was an honor!
The wedding was at one of the most amazing wedding venues I’ve ever shot at, The Blackstone Country Club. And to make it even more beautiful, Terry did all the decorative design herself! I was so blown away at the details and embellishments that I went and redecorated my room with this inspiration. It was BEAUTIFUL! I even contacted Terry shortly after the wedding asking where I could get my hands on some of the fabulous decor and she was so helpful in all the little tips! I truly fell in love with this family and wedding!
For now, here are two images. I wanted to show one pose with two completely different looks! Yes, sometimes you have to ask them to hold a kiss a little longer than normal… but hey… its their wedding day and they are always more than happy to lock lips! I will be posting more images soon, so keep your eyes peeled!

I came across this post of bridal shower ideas and it reminded me of spring! I know we are just about to embark on the hot summer, but why not try to make it fun and enjoy it! And I especially love the Sprinkles Cupcakes, which EVERYONE loves, so you are bound to have a killer party with those around! The casual backyard feel is exactly the type of girl I am! I think all of these ideas could be done so easily and fun with other friends!!

I’ve been asked several times if I ever get sick of shooting weddings… and I have never been able to answer yes. I LOVE weddings. I love everything about them. And when I shot Quiana and Obi’s wedding last Sunday, throughout the day I was constantly reminded of how amazing it is to work with such great people on such a GREAT day of their lives. Quiana and Obi were always such a pleasure to be around. They not only loved each other to the fullest extent, but they loved their family and friends so much. I LOVE being around people like this! We were constantly laughing and coming up with crazy ideas. Quiana and Obi, thanks for being such a joy to be around!
Their ceremony was shortly after 11am at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale. So, the sun was blazing straight down on us, but we were completely able to rock all the best spots! This place was beautiful!

Since moving to our new house, I have met a lot of amazing people, which I love! Nonnie and Deann are two of those awesome people. Nonnie is graduating this May! Deann is her super rad mom, she came along for the fun!
We had so much fun venturing around in Queen Creek the other day. She was up for anything and everything, I loved it! It was hard to choose these few photos to share, there were so many that rocked!!!! Way to own it all, Nonnie!!!
2010 is the year for new beginnings. It was right as midnight struck this year, that I totally, 100%, knew this was true! With the release of my new company with Shelly and Kristina, a new www.keatorphoto.com website on its way to roll out, a new house, new neighbors and new goals…. I realized its going to be a BIG JAMMED PACKED 2010! I couldn’t be more excited! And I’m even more excited to share it with all the people I am so passionate about… YOU GUYS!
One thing I will do pretty often is release a Photo Of The Day! Just something that grabbed me and I love! Here is the first official Photo of the Day for 2010. This shot is of an old friend and her husband. They were so open to coming out and modeling at the first Studio Reveal photo shoot ever. Thank you guys so much for being smokin hot and easy to photograph!
Today… what can I say… I had the most amazing…. AMAZING photo shoot with Ann & Andrew! Their love for each other could light up the whole universe.
