Photo of the Day!

2010 is the year for new beginnings.   It was right as midnight struck this year, that I totally, 100%, knew this was true!  With the release of my new company with Shelly and Kristina, a new www.keatorphoto.com website on its way to roll out, a new house, new neighbors and new goals…. I realized its going to be a BIG JAMMED PACKED 2010!  I couldn’t be more excited!  And I’m even more excited to share it with all the people I am so passionate about… YOU GUYS!

One thing I will do pretty often is release a Photo Of The Day!  Just something that grabbed me and I love!  Here is the first official Photo of the Day for 2010.  This shot is of an old friend and her husband.  They were so open to coming out and modeling at the first Studio Reveal photo shoot ever.  Thank you guys so much for being smokin hot and easy to photograph!

Gray Family

This was the first time I have met the Gray family.  They are dear friends to some of my very dear friends.  The Gray’s came in from Ohio to visit and wanted me to take their family photos while they were here!  And I’m glad I did.   We went to a nearby park and had a lot of fun.  It was such a fun get together, because my friend came along with her kids and my kids were able to play as well!  Here is just a tiny little peek at their cute little family.

What a LOVE!

This was SOOO exciting for me!  Lindsay was a great friend in high school that I hadn’t really got much of a chance to keep in touch with over the years.  We can chalk it up to facebook for reuniting us, yes…. facebook!  The day of the photo shoot, it was actually the second time I had seen her in about 5 or 6 six years, I believe.  I love friends, old, new, always… but reuniting is soooo, soo fun for me!  Photographing Lindsay with her sweet daughter, Heidi, was so easy.  They had so much fun just playing and laughing.  You can just see the love beaming!  And look at those eyes!!! YES, they really do look like that!  BEAUTIFUL!

Winter Wonderland Wedding Inspiration!

When I saw this, my heart completely melted, fell back into a warm cozy chair and sipped on some hot chocolate.  I can’t describe what this season does to me!  I love it.  I remember when I was planning my own wedding, I was sooooo badly wanting to get married in December so I could have all this winter wonderland stuff surrounding me on my big day!  I LOVE winter weddings!  This is just a little taste!  If any of you are getting married in the winter and really embracing a winter wonderland wedding, or christmas themed wedding…. I am your photo lady!  Check this out!!!  Here is a little winter inspiration for you.  I found this on Hello Lucky blog.

Winter Wonderland

Winter is beautiful, romantic…and cold. Use it to your advantage and let the icy colors of winter set the tone for your celebration. Cool blues, silvers and whites and delicate lace, feathers and flowers create an ethereal setting. Candles and white fabrics create even more warmth and elegance….’cause baby, it’s cold outside. For more inspiration, take a peek at ourWinter themed invitations.

Sweet Parnell Family!

A few days ago I finally got the chance to meet the Shelley, Andy and Laine in person.  Shelley and I had been chatting on Facebook and through email for some time now, in anticipation of this shoot!  I felt like I was with family!  We were out at Heritage Square in Phoenix, and what a cute place that was!  Little Laine took full advantage of all the cute shops and had to visit all the pumpkins Heritage Square had sitting around to decorate!  I love little kids!  Photographing little ones is not only something I love to capture, but its great because I’m always pretty much guaranteed a workout for the day, because they just love to run around and explore!  Thank you guys for asking me to be your photographer!

Halloweenies!

Halloween was awesome last night!  Our close friends and soon to be closer friends, Jen and Derek, had an amazing halloween party last night.  And I say, soon to be closer, because we are moving down the street from them.  So we thought, what a great way to meet the neighbors and have some fun!   And we did just that.  I met so many awesome people!  Mike and I couldn’t stop talking about how great it is going to be to have such wonderful neighbors, in a great neighborhood, with lots of kids!  We even got visited by the fire department, who was driving down the street in their big old truck, passing out candy to trick or treaters!  Could be we any luckier?!!  Bet you want to live there now!

It made the night so much sweeter that Mike (my husband) could be there to hang out all night.  He is usually running his business and misses out on some of the really fun stuff!  Jordyn and Travis were beside themselves so happy to have their friends, candy and so much fun stuff to do.  So my night was pretty SWEET!  Hope you all had a happy halloween!  Can’t believe its already November!  Can’t wait for what November is bringing!
